Water Extraction

Severe flooding of your home or business is not a situation that you will find yourself in very often but when it does happen it is overwhelming. Having a company that you can trust to handle this issue for you is paramount to the successful removal of water from your property.

Hiring the wrong company wastes time during the critical water extraction phase, and it will lead to complications down the road when you find out that your property was not dried correctly and has lingering mold damage.

Mold damage is something that you want to avoid at all cost. Mold will ruin your property if it is not removed quickly. Mold is known to cause headaches, runny nose, nausea and other nasty side effects. You can avoid this situation entirely by calling Phoenix Carpet Repair & Cleaning.

Our expert water extraction team will remove the water from your home with the same professionalism that we bring to our carpet repair services. We know what to do during this difficult time and will work hard to remedy this problem rapidly and efficiently so you can get back to living your life.

How Do We Handle Water Extraction and Drying Out Your Home?

We follow a four-step process to get the water out and stop it from harming the structural integrity of your property.

Step 1. Water Extraction

Water extraction is a key part of the water damage restoration process. Without getting rid of the water, nothing else would be possible. We use powerful water extraction technology to remove the water from your property promptly.

Step 2. Get The Air Moving

Once the water has been extracted, we deploy air movers to get the air circulating throughout your property. Air movers promote faster drying times of floors and carpets. Air movers are fundamental to the water damage restoration process.

Step 3. Dehumidify Your Property

Dehumidifying your home is the next step after removing the water and circulating air throughout the building. High humidity promotes mold and mildew growth, which is something that we want to avoid. Your home is packed full of porous materials that mold and mildew will colonize without you even noticing.

Our powerful dehumidifiers can remove up to 150 pints of water from the air per day. This piece of equipment will ensure that your property is bone dry after we are done.

Step 4. Regulate Temp

This is the last step in the water damage restoration process. During this stage, we carefully monitor the temperature inside your property to create the most ideal drying conditions. Temperature control is crucial in preventing mold growth.

We also use hygrometers to measure the moisture in the drywall and structural beams to ensure that moisture levels are back to normal levels.

Our water damage restoration technicians are meticulous and follow established protocols for water damage restoration.

You can trust Phoenix Carpet Repair and Cleaning to help your family recover after this traumatic event.

  Stretching & cleaning exquisitely done!

Roger from Phoenix Carpet Repair & Cleaning just completed restretching two rooms and cleaning one of them and did an excellent job. I had both rooms restretched a little over two years ago and was bummed they needed it once again and so soon. However, I was advised by this company that if they aren’t powered stretched they will likely start to buckle again. I know for a fact the last job was not powered stretched so very pleased they powered stretched them this time. Additionally, I was a little hesitant on how well the cleaning would turn out due to the high traffic wear pattern on the carpet. But…not to fear as it turned out much better than expected, almost looks new. I will definitely use, and recommend, them for all my future carpet needs.
