Berber carpet are named from the hand-woven carpets of the Berber people in North Africa. This type of carpet are distinguished by a loop pile construction that usually contains small flecks of dark color on lighter shades of background colors resembling a natural undyed version of traditional carpets. This is very different from traditional carpets that consist of plain color with no patterns.
Our customer in Phoenix had a couple snags in his Berber carpet. With Berber carpet, if the snag is not repaired right away, a small snag can quickly turn into a large snag and can become a trip hazard. There is a different process to repair Berber carpet compared to the carpet that is traditionally used in homes. Our technicians are certified in working with all types of carpet and area rugs.
