Phoenix Carpet Repair & Cleaning was presented with an opportunity to donate our services to the Ronald McDonald House Charities of Phoenix by mikeysboard.com, an online blog and forum for janitorial and cleaning services.
In 2016, RMHC housed 1,300 families who checked in over 2,500 times. If a child is receiving inpatient or outpatient medical treatment, the family is welcome to stay at RMDH for as long as they need. Community support is a huge help for this organization who helps even those who cannot financially contribute for their stay.
Cleaning of carpet, area rugs, tile and grout, vinyl, drapes and upholstery were donated by 34 different local business over the span of 3 days, to the RMHC valued to be about $10,000 worth of services, in addition to a $9,000 cash contribution from about 40 business owners and employees. In addition to all of the cleaning contributions, our friends at Affordable Pest Control were kind enough to donate about $1,500 of their services and time.
Phoenix Carpet Repair & Cleaning was honored to be a part of such a wonderful event to help those families in need. We look forward to attending next year’s event!
