Phoenix Carpet Repair and Cleaning is very familiar with removing red dye stains. We can typically remove them; however in this client attempted to remove the stains with something that actually bleached the carpet. When the carpet fibers are bleached they are technically burnt and require permanent section bonding (patching) to repair this type of scenario. If the client does not have extra carpet (remnant pieces from the install) we borrow a piece from a closet and then utilize that to patch the damaged area. The client might think to themselves… “What about my closet? There will be a hole in it.” Well, we got you covered! We carry around remnant pieces in the beige and brown tone and we can place a non-matching piece in the beige or brown tone back in the closet for you so that there is not a hole in your closet. How convenient!?
