Carpet repairs such as the one in the photos below are very common and are typical results. We cannot simply glue fibers back onto the backing or stretch the carpet piece to piece. .
We need to cut out the damaged area and seam in a new piece of carpet. If you do not have spare carpet, we can take a piece from a back corner of a closet and use that for the damaged area. We don’t want to leave you with a hole in your closet, so we carry around random non matching carpet remnants to place back into the closet. We only need to take an amount from the closet that is slightly larger than the damaged carpet area.
