We cleaned this customer’s rental home today. He was trying to decide whether to clean the carpet or replace it. Well, our motto is “Don’t Replace it, Repair It!”
We used a method called Restorative Carpet Cleaning to scrub away all that traffic soil. We also did a repair in a doorway from pet damage. The homeowner did not have any spare carpet to use for the repair, so we removed a piece from a small closet and used that for the repair. Then we brought a brown carpet remnant with us and were able to place that back into the closet. Not all carpet technicians carry carpet remnants with them to place back into the closet.
After the repair was done, you can see it was really noticeable due to how soiled the carpet was surrounding it. After the carpet cleaning, the repair can hardly be seen.
Here is the non-matching carpet remnant we brought with us to place back into the customer’s closet. Not bad right?
