Phoenix Carpet Repair & Cleaning is a proud member of Local First Arizona.  We recognize the importance of hiring local and supporting small businesses and wanted to share a few ideas for you to keep in mind when choosing who to hire for your next project:

1. Hiring a local business radiates community spirit. Locally owned businesses build strong communities by sustaining vibrant town centers, linking neighbors in a web of economic and social relationships, and contributing to local causes.

2. You strengthen your local economy. Compared to chain stores, locally owned businesses recycle a much larger share of their revenue back into the local economy, enriching the whole community.

3. Increases the value of job opportunities. Locally owned businesses create more jobs locally and, in some sectors, provide better wages and benefits than chains do.

4. Local ownership ensures that important decisions are made locally by people who live in the community and who will feel the impacts of those decisions.

5. A marketplace of tens of thousands of small businesses is the best way to ensure innovation and low prices over the long-term.

There are plenty of nation wide carpet cleaning companies in the valley right now.  Most consumers recognize the difference in customer service we receive from nation wide stores compared to a local businesses.  We can’t speak for all, however for the most part, I think you can agree that those larger corporations mostly care only about numbers and dollar signs.  The have no connection with the community in which they are servicing.  Whereas, a local business owner might be your next door neighbor, or even attend your church.  That special connection is unique and can help your community and state thrive.

The quality of the service or product you purchase locally is more likely to be better than that of a nation wide organization.  Who would want to call a company to hire service in your city, only to speak with someone that is 2,000 miles away (and you will probably not get the same person twice).  We know how difficult that can make what should be a pleasant experience.

Whether you choose to hire local or not, make sure you do your research on the company and HIRE SMART.  The internet has created unlimited resources to see customer reviews and business ratings.
