There could be a need for carpet pad replacement in a few different situations such as having worn down pad, pet tore it up, or even habitual pet urine. This customer needed urine contaminated padding tore out of a 5’x5′ space, the wooden sub floor sealed and then the carpet re-stretched and cleaned. Without the sealant, the urine smell will continue to come through even brand new pad or carpet.
