For the carpet to tile fraying and damage, we power stretched the carpet slightly passed the tile, then cut off a thin strip of the damaged carpet, finishing by tucking it down in front of the tile. The other area was just some missing carpet that the dog had chewed out. We use a tool that works like a cookie cutter to cut out the damage in a perfect circle, then take the same sized circle from carpet in the closet to plug it.
