At Phoenix Carpet Repair & Cleaning, Fridays have a little extra fun and fluff thanks to our beloved office mascot, Koda! If you’ve ever stopped by or followed us on social media, you’ve probably seen this handsome pitbull lounging on a couch, supervising meetings, or sneaking in a midday nap. Koda isn’t just a cute face—he’s part of the team.
Every Friday, Koda joins us in the office to boost morale and remind us to take a moment to relax and enjoy the little things. Whether he’s trotting from desk to desk to check on the staff or flopping down dramatically for a nap in the middle of the office, Koda brings good vibes and wagging-tail energy to the end of our workweek.
One of his favorite roles? Meeting monitor. Koda takes his job very seriously—he finds the coziest spot in the meeting room, usually right in the center, and listens closely (or at least pretends to). Sometimes he snores through project updates, but we like to think he’s dreaming up ways to improve our services!
When he’s not supervising, Koda enjoys making surprise rounds to each team member. His go-to strategy involves a big stretch, a couple of tail wags, and those irresistible puppy dog eyes that just beg for belly rubs. Of course, no one can resist, and we’re happy to take a break from carpet repair calls and scheduling to give him a little attention.
Koda also reminds us to keep things balanced—work hard, nap hard. You’ll often find him curled up in a sunny spot near the window after lunch, recharging for his afternoon duties. His presence is a gentle reminder that taking a break isn’t just okay—it’s necessary. We think all offices could use a Koda!
Fridays with Koda have become a tradition we cherish. He brings a sense of calm, joy, and connection to the team, and our customers love seeing what he’s up to each week.
