Recently, we received a phone call from a customer who had fingerprint dust stains in her carpet. Crime scene investigators were working in the home and left stains behind once they were finish dusting for fingerprints. Since the carpets were still under warranty, our customer contacted Stainmaster Carpets hoping they can replace the carpets. Our customer was told that they needed to try to get the carpets cleaned by a certified carpet cleaning company first, if the stains remain, then they will replace the carpets.
When our technician arrived to the home, he vacuumed the areas with a commercial grade vacuum, pre-treated the areas, then he began the steam cleaning process. We use a very powerful truck mounted, hot water steam extraction cleaner. When the cleaning process was over, the stains were removed from the carpet.
