Dogs enjoy chewing on something they can really get their teeth on. Unfortunately, the edge of the stairs is a common place that they think works great to chew on, resulting in damaged carpet. We can get the carpet on the stairs repaired and possibly prevent accidents from tripping on damaged carpet. If left gaping and fraying, the dog may continue to bother that area making it worse, or damage the wood underneath, adding to the repairs needed.
