Phoenix Carpet Repair & Cleaning teamed up once again with Mikey’s Fest which brings together several cleaning and restoration companies to give back to the families staying at Ronald McDonald House Charities. This was the biggest event yet in Minneapolis, Minnesota. The original house was built in 1979 and had 8 rooms and 1 bathroom. Fast forward to 2018 and this four “house” campus has 48 rooms, 48 bathrooms, several common areas plus a K-12 school. There was 75,000 SQ FT of tile and carpeted flooring that was in need of professional cleaning not to mention 60 plus pieces of upholstery, an acre of granite counter tops, a basketball court and over 500 carpeted steps. Our owner, Robert Atlas, not only donated his time and knowledge to the event but was also a guest speaker at the Fest. He shared how he has built a successful business and how he can help others open new doors and expand their businesses in great ways. Robert was also one of ten people nominated and given the Hardest Workers Award at the Fest. He received an upholstery bag to hold his upholstery tools and a Seal A Door package. We look forward to implementing these new, innovative products into our business.
